The Institute of Educational Studies and Cultural Management was established in 2007. Besides undertaking a major role in teacher training, we also offer independent tertiary education degree programs for future professionals interested in the fields of education sciences and cultural management. As we aim to balance, complement and integrate our research and teaching activities, our lecturers participate in numerous research projects and aspire our students to engage in these projects as well.

Our research scope covers all fields of education sciences, including school-based education, informal and non-formal training, the relation of society and education, the interrelation of education and economy, the internal world of schools, teaching methods and pedagogical issues.
