Katinka Bacskai - (PhD) assistant lecturer, Department of Educational Studies
She is a sociologist, history-sociology teacher. Her main field of research is public education. Her research fields are the efficiency of teachers teaching low SES children, drop out of school and the comparison of public and private sectors. She is familiar with both quantitative and qualitative research methods, she analyzes big Hungarian and OECD databases as well.
She acquired her PhD title in 2014, the title of her dissertation is Mit ér (el) a tanár, ha közép-európai?: Alacsony státusú diákokat tanító tanárok két közép-európai országban [What is worth the teacher if Central-European? Teachers teaching low SES children in two Central – European countries.] Currently she is teaching teacher candidates in teacher training, and BA and MA students in pedagogy major.
