In 2020 I graduated in Psychology from the University of Szeged, and in the autumn of the same year, I started my PhD studies as a scholarship student at the Doctoral Programme in Educational Sciences of the Doctoral School of Human Sciences of the University of Debrecen, under the supervision of Dr. Veronika Bocsi. Since the beginning of my doctoral studies, I have been a member of the CHERD research group and the editorial board of CEJER. The focus of my research is on STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) higher education in Hungary, with a special focus on recruitment patterns and gender differences.

Cintia Csók is a researcher at the Centre for Higher Education Research and Development of the University of Debrecen, assistant lecturer at the Institute of Education and Cultural Studies of the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Debrecen, and graduate doctoral student and program secretary of the Doctoral Programme in Education at the Doctoral School of Human Sciences. In 2017 and 2019 she was awarded first place at the National Conference of Scientific Students and in 2019 she was awarded the Pro Scientia Gold Medal, the most prestigious student honour established by OTDT. In 2023, he was awarded first place in the Ministry of the Interior's Council for Science in Public Education's Teacher Research Competition and was awarded the Inspiring Showcase category by the Educational Leadership Network Europe (ELNE) for his submission. From 2021, she will lead two working groups in the research team of the MTA's Public Education Development Programme on Developing Teachers' Capacity for Parent Engagement. I am Zsuzsanna Demeter-Karászi, PhD student of the Doctoral Programme in Education and Educational Sciences at the University of Debrecen. I studied at the Partium Christian University in Oradea, Hungary, where I completed a bachelor's degree in English-Hungarian Studies, followed by a master's degree in Multilingualism and Multiculturalism. During my studies, I spent six months in Switzerland at the University of Fribourg, where I was an active member of the CHERD research group and a responsible editor of the Central European Journal of Educational Research. My research interests are cross-sectoral comparisons between church and state higher education institutions and their students

I am Katalin Godó, a PhD student at the Doctoral Programme in Education of the University of Debrecen. My research topic is mentoring, with a focus on primary school mentoring programs under the supervision of Dr. Tímea Ceglédi. I have been involved in several programs as a mentor and as a mentee. Mentoring is my passion and teaching also plays an important role in my life. I have been a member of the CHERD research group since the beginning of my doctoral studies and I have been a member of the CEJER editorial board for several years. I have grown and still grow a lot in this inspiring research community, for which I am very grateful.

Anett Hrabéczy graduated in 2019 with a Master's degree in Education and is a PhD student in the Doctoral Programme in Education and Educational Sciences. She is a member of the editorial board of the Central European Journal of Educational Research (CEJER) and the Hungarian Educational Research Journal (HERJ) and has been a member of the CHERD-Hungary research group since her Master's studies in Education. Her research topic is the situation of students with special educational needs in higher education and in the labor market. She started working in this area during her Master's studies and was awarded first place in the XXXIV National Scientific Student Conference for her thesis on this topic. I am Réka Mándoki, a first-year PhD student at the University of Debrecen, Faculty of Humanities, Doctoral School of Human Sciences, PhD Programme in Education. I graduated from the Faculty of Child Education and Special Education at the University of Debrecen in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in kindergarten education, and in 2022 I completed my master's degree in social pedagogy. I quickly became interested in the academic world and was already a member of DETEP as a bachelor. In 2018, I spent half a year at the Christian University of Partium with a Makovecz scholarship. In 2019, I won the Pro Regione award and in 2021, I came second in the 35th OTDK. My research topic is the relationship between foreign language in kindergarten and family background in disadvantaged areas

I am Zsófia Miklódi-Simon, PhD student at the Doctoral School of Human Sciences, Faculty of Humanities, Doctoral Programme in Education, University of Debrecen. I received my Master's degree in 2023 from the Master's program in Education at the University of Debrecen, where I was a member of the University of Debrecen's Talent Management Program and the CHERD (The Center for Higher Education Research and Development) research group from the beginning of my studies. I started my research work on the relationship between arts education and leisure activities during this period, the results of which I had the opportunity to present with my research colleagues at the National Conference on Educational Sciences in 2022. She obtained her PhD at the Doctoral Programme in Education and Educational Sciences of the University of Debrecen in 2022. Her dissertation is entitled. The academic careers, labor market positioning, and social embeddedness of former students of the Balassi Institute in Transcarpathia in the light of the permanent settlement. Her main research interests include student mobility, education of national minorities, academic achievement, and social integration of mobile students. She works as an associate professor at the Department of Pedagogy, Psychology, Teacher, Kindergarten Pedagogy, Educational and Institutional Leadership of the Ferenc Rákóczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian College, and as a researcher at the Tivadar Lehoczky Centre for Social Sciences.

I am a PhD student at the Doctoral Programme in Education and Educational Sciences of the University of Debrecen since 2020. I graduated from the University of Debrecen in German Language and Culture, Library Studies. During my university years, I already started my research work on reading research and digital literacy, which was supported by the DETEP and Young Researcher Fellowship programs. And later my research focused on teachers' digital literacy and ICT use. My current main area of research has again led me into the field of literacy research, my main research question being how public libraries and book influencers can work together to promote literacy education. I am a member of the BOBCATSSS Association Board (European Association for Library and Information Science Education and Research).

She graduated as a teacher of geography and vocal music and as a landscape geographer. She is an adjunct professor at the Institute of Education and Cultural Studies at the University of Debrecen and a subject leader in the Doctoral Program in Education and Cultural Studies at the Doctoral School of Human Sciences. Her research is in the field of music education, investigating how music learning influences students' effectiveness and achievement, and how this depends on the socio-economic background of students. She is currently researching institutions that are successful in teaching music and talent management to disadvantaged students.

She completed her postgraduate studies in theology and philosophy at the Pontificia Università Gregoriana in Rome. Following a Master's degree in Applied Philosophy, she pursued doctoral studies. He obtained his PhD in Philosophy from the Doctoral School of Philosophy of the Babeș-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca in 2014 and his PhD in Education from the Doctoral School of Education of the University of Debrecen in 2019. Since 2017, she has been an adjunct professor at the Sapientia EMTE Teacher Training Institute, and since 2022 she has been the director of the PedPsi Research Centre within the Institute. His research topics in the field of education focus on public education (secondary school choice, denominational education)

From autumn 2023 I am a PhD student in the Doctoral Programme in Education at the Faculty of Humanities, University of Debrecen. I studied at the Christian University of Partium, where I graduated in English Language and Literature - German Language and Literature, and in Translation and Interpreting. My thesis supervisor, Prof. Dr. Gabriella Pusztai and I are researching the future of young people in the region and the factors influencing it, including the educational situation of the Hungarian minority in Romania. As a member of the CHERD research team, I have the opportunity to follow the work of my colleagues and I am also active in the editorial board of CEJER.
